These are some of our favorite links, and links we think would be useful to collectors and fans of animation!

Some are fan sites, some have art, sounds, scripts or whatever, and some we just put here because we wanted to. But whatever the site, they are fun!

  • Toon.Com has a variety of cartoon, animation and comic information... from a list of all the Disney "classic" cartoons, to games, message boards and links. So pop on over and take a look around!

  • For further information regarding caring for your collection, or having a cel professionally restored, we suggest you check out Vintage Ink and Paint. When you drop by, tell Steve I said Hi!

  • At The Cartoon Factory, we think an educated collector is the best collector. While we try to provide you with the best information we can, we also encourage you to learn as much as you can about animation art, and from a number of sources. We recommend you subscribe to CELMail, a weekly e-mailer that deals with a variety of issues of importance to collectors and future collectors.

  • Want to know who directed Tom Turkey And His Harmonica Humdinger? (It was Hugh Harman, by the way...) Or who animated Belle in Beauty and the Beast? (Mark Henn and James Baxter, among others...) From Disney, Warner and Hanna-Barbera to UPA, MGM and Universal, you can find the credits, synopsis and more at The Big Cartoon DataBase. You can even rate your favorite cartoons, review your least favorite cartoons, or add to the DataBase!

  • I admit it, I love all the little things that make Disney Disney. One of my favorite pastimes is spotting Hidden Mickey's. To further appreciate the art of Disney as a whole, link to The Hidden Mickey Page and see what you've been missing at the parks and in the movies!

  • We sell stuff on our site- it is what we do... if you are looking for Free Stuff, look no further! The Free Stuff Center is your all in one website for the gamet of freebies!

  • An unofficial historical journal devoted to the creative legacy of Walt Disney and The Walt Disney Studio, P.O.V. has received wide critical acclaim from not only those who have worked for (and with) Walt Disney, but also the Disney family.

  • Fans of the Walt Disney Classics Collection will join us in mourning the passing of Warren Lee's wonderful resource page about the collection. Everything was there, on one site- we used it for reference as much as anything else. But the good news- Mad Duckman has taken over the mantle, so see The Duckman's Inside Report for a whole LOT of background information- you won't be disappointed!

  • For more information on The Simpsons than anyone can sift through in a lifetime, check out The Simpsons Archive

  • Collecting Simpsons! is a humor-laced fan site devoted to the hobby of collecting licensed merchandise from "The Simpsons." Among its numerous features, the site includes a four-part report on Simpsons animation cels.

  • Can you be cool and Looney at the same time? You can if you are the Non-Sticky Looney Tunes page. Give them a look for a ton of fun!

  • For good, in depth information about the animation art industry- from Aladdin to the zoetrope- page through fps: The Magazine of Animation on Film and Video

  • POW! WHAM! ZAP! Are you a fan of the 1960's TV version of Batman? Holy Website- some of the stars of that show are now on the web. One of the most complete and fun is one created by Yvonne Craig- TV's Batgirl. You may also want to visit Adam West's Bat-Website. Coming soon: Julie Newmar!

  • So Mommy, where do cartoons come from? Well, if you're like us, you first saw them on Saturday mornings...  pop over and see what's new from the perennial cartoon producers at Warner Bros. Animation.

  • Animation World Network is the ultimate animation hub on the internet. This huge site includes sites for animation-related organizations, festivals, animators, and companies as well as a monthly magazine, a gallery, relational databases of animation- related information, discussion forums and guest chats, a job resources section, a biweekly email newsletter, a marketplace for buying/selling & trading animation merchandise, and more...check it out!

  • One of our favorite guitarists is a man named Adrian Belew. Although you may not know his name, you have probably heard his music. If you haven't, you are in for a treat. Trip over to Rob Murphee's Adrian Belew Site and see what the Twang Bar King is up to.

  • It may not be exactly cartoon related, but it is run by a great guy! So hop across the WEB, meet our friend Ken Goldstein and talk a little politics or Telecasters (the guitar, not the talking heads). There's other stuff, too!

  • The Playroom is a children's page with loads of puzzles, brain teasers, things to do, jokes, graphics and animations. Kids art ideas page and loads of links on many topics-ants, virtual visits, kites, dance, cars, toys, and much much more.

  • Ryan has been collecting for a number of years, and has quite a "cel"ection in his collection. Link on over to Ryan's personal collection and see some of what one collectror likes.

  • OK, a bit out of left field, but there is an Animation connection.... (look for Friz Freleng or Mel Blanc). While it may seem to border on bad taste, Beneath Los Angeles is actually done with a bit of artistry, style and class. So hop over, and see the final resting places of some of Hollywood's greatest!

  • Got Windows and need some help? Go To Steve Jenkins Win 95 connect page.

  • Interested in becoming an animator? There are a lot of schools that teach animation, but here is one to look at. Give The Academy of Art University a look- maybe that is the place for you!

  • What is the largest human-edited directory on the web? The Open Directory Project... use it, be a part of it.

These are some of the sites we like, enjoy and visit. But the web is just getting way too big for us to list everything of interest to Cartoon, Animation and Comic enthusiasts. But this should give you a pretty good start!
